Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Trip Budget you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

2. What Trip Budget Does

Trip Budget lets you plan trips day-by-day, track expenses in multiple currencies, visualize routes on a map, and share itineraries publicly. We may update or discontinue features at any time.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for your account and all activity under it. Keep your credentials secure and don't share access with others.

4. Plans, Billing & Trials

New accounts start with a free 7-day trial. No credit card required. After that, access requires the Explorer plan ($8/month or $59/year), which includes unlimited trips and AI credits. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy.

Explorer subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase if you haven't substantially used the service. Contact support@tripbudget.io for refund requests.

5. Your Data

You own your trip data. We store it to provide the service and won't use it for any other purpose. We make reasonable efforts to keep it safe, but recommend keeping your own copies of important information.

6. Sharing

When you enable sharing for a trip, anyone with the link can view the itinerary. Your name and email are never shown on shared trips. You can disable sharing at any time from the app.

7. Acceptable Use

Don't scrape the platform, attempt unauthorized access, upload illegal content, or use Trip Budget for fraudulent purposes. Violations may result in immediate account termination.

8. Disclaimers

Trip Budget is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Exchange rates are for reference only. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. Your data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account closure.

10. Changes

We may update these terms and will notify you by email for material changes. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.
