Hints you can tap and reach by keyboard

Every hint in TripBudget is now one consistent hint: it opens when you tap information on a phone and when you Tab to a button.

Hover hints used to be the browser's plain tooltips, which never appear on a phone and skip the keyboard. They are now one consistent hint everywhere.

What changed

  • Tap a price, a badge or a cut-off name on a phone to read its hint. Tap anywhere else to close it.
  • Tab to a button and its hint appears, so keyboard users get the same help as the mouse.
  • Buttons that do something never pop a hint when you tap them.
  • Hints sit above dialogs, follow your light or dark theme, and Escape closes the hint before the dialog.
