Improved

A preview of the trip before you load the map

The Show the map button now sits over a soft preview of the trip's route, centered in the part of the map you can see, and it remembers your choice.

A trip route drawn over a soft map with a Show the map button in front

When you open a shared or community trip without an account, the map waits for you to ask for it. That wait used to look like an empty grey box. It now shows what the trip looks like.

What changed

  • A blurred preview of the trip's own route sits behind the button, so you see the shape of the trip before you load anything.
  • The button is centered in the part of the map the day panel leaves uncovered, and says it opens an interactive map.
  • Press it once and the map opens by itself on the next trips you visit on this device.

Your choice is kept only in your browser. Clear your site data and the button comes back.
