My location stays where you are
Pressing My location near one of your trip's cities used to throw the map out to the whole trip. It now stays close: it moves to you, and never zooms out when you are already on screen.
My location had it backwards. Standing far from your trip, it zoomed in on you. Standing in one of your trip's cities, the one moment you most want the streets around you, it framed you together with every city of the trip, so a reader in Paris on a tour of Europe got a map of Europe.
- If you are already on screen, the map only moves to you. The zoom stays where you left it.
- If you are near your trip but off screen, the map shows you with the stops or the city close to you, not the whole trip, and never closer than street level.
- Far from your trip, it centers on you as before.
Your location is still only used to move the map. It is never stored or sent anywhere.
