Messages in a light tint

Errors, warnings and confirmations used to arrive as solid blocks of red, amber or green. They now sit in a light tint of their colour with dark text, so they are easier to read and no longer shout over the rest of the page.

A message is there to be read. The old ones filled their box with a strong colour and set pale text on top of it, and an error about a comment or a failed card sat on the page like a warning light. Some had drifted to a pink of their own, so no two quite matched.

  • Every error, warning, note and confirmation now uses one style: a light tint of its colour, a soft border and dark text with an icon.
  • The colour still tells you the kind of message at a glance. The words are in the same dark ink as the rest of the page, so they are as easy to read.
  • The payment reminder, the preview strip on your own shared trip, and the messages in trip generation, sharing, the suggestions board and account deletion all changed.
