One day, one timeline

Shared and community trips now show each day as one line through it: morning, afternoon and evening, every place once, and the way from one to the next right between them.

A day split into morning, afternoon and evening with places on a single rail and the walk between them, the afternoon marked Now, beside a map numbering the same places in the same order

A day used to show its plans, then list the same places again underneath to say how to get between them. Now there is one list, in the order you would actually go.

  • Morning, afternoon and evening, with every stay, meal, ride and activity once, on a single line through the day.
  • The way to the next place sits right on that line: the mode, about how long, how far, and a directions button for that leg.
  • Each place carries its number on the map, so the list and the map read the same.
  • What the day costs by kind is one line under its date: stay, food, rides, activities.
  • On the day itself, the part of the day you are in is marked Now, and rides with times say whether they are done, on the way or next.
  • Press a place's name to find it on the map.

Your own trip editor gets the same timeline next, with drag and drop.
