Plan your day in your order
The trip editor now shows each day as the same timeline your shared trips do, and you can drag anything into the order you want. The map and the directions follow.
Your days used to be four boxes: lodging, food, transport, activities. You had to piece the day together in your head. Now a day in the editor is one line through it, exactly like the version you share.
- Morning, afternoon and evening each have an Add. Pick a meal, an activity, a ride, or your stay in the evening, and it lands in that part of the day.
- Drag anything by its handle to put it where you want it, in the same part of the day or another one. On a phone, press and hold.
- Every card has one menu: edit, move up or down, move to another part of the day or another day, remove. It is also the keyboard's way to move things.
- The day orders itself until you drag something. After that it follows your order, and a new place slots in where it adds the least distance.
- The map's numbers and the directions follow your order. Optimise order in the menu hands the day back to the shortest way.
- The way between two places sits between them. Press it to say how you get there.
- On the day itself, the part of the day you are in is marked Now.
Nothing you planned changes. Each day opens in the order its route already had on the map, and stays that way until you drag something.
